VET Sonotron Mark2 FOR RACEHORSES

The VET Sonotron Mark2 consists of a base unit and a hand-held applicator. The base unit produces a low radio frequency of 0.43 mHz which is then pulsed at a low sound frequency of 1 kHz. It then directs this pulsed radio frequency energy to an electrode situated inside the applicator. The energy creates a bluish Corona Discharge Beam (CDB) at the tip of the electrode.

The CDB is the electronic discharge in free air that works on sick cells to normalise their transmembrane potentials. Its energy that impinges on the skin is about 0.023 watt at 0.022 amperes RMS and 1.06 Volt RMS. It is equivalent to about 1/60 of the energy that is required to light a single Christmas tree lamp.

Please see an animation below that shows YMT's Free Radical Hypothesis is possible as a mechanism of action for VET Sonotron Mark2. :

It is postulated that VET Sonotron Mark2 removes excess free radicals in sick cells by changing them into Oxygen and water. As a result, transmembrane potential of the cells returns to normal. Symptoms exhibited by the cells are reduced immediately.

An example is pain. Pain is a symptom exhibited by sick nerve cells. It is felt when transmembrane potential of the cells is at a certain level. Normal cells have a transmembrane potential of about 70 mV. That of cells exhibiting chronic pain is about 55 mV (cancer cells - 15 mV; dead cells - 0 mV).

Excess free radicals in nerve cells cause the change in value of their transmembrane potentials.

Free radicals are independent molecules, each with an unpaired electron. They are unstable because the unpaired electrons constantly seek other electrons to pair with them. Before they find their partners, free radicals influence the membranes of the cells they are in.

Sonotron on the other hand produces an electronic discharge in free air. This is unique. It produces the discharge with only one pole. Normally, this happens when there is an opposite pole. As such, the CDB will zoom its electrons to any receiving pole when it finds one.

Excess free radicals in sick cells behave as the opposite pole for the Sonotron energy. Sonotron electrons travel directly to and react with the free radicals, converting them to Oxygen and water.

As a result, the excess free radicals are removed. They don't influence the cells anymore. Transmembrane potentials return to normal. Symptoms of pain disappear. Before disappearing, each subsequent exposure to Sonotron energy gives rise to a progressive reduction in the intensity of pain.

The return to normal status of the electrical potential of cell membranes subsequently influence the nuclei in the cells. They function normally and reproduce cells normally. Excess Oxygen and water that now exist in the cells help to quicken the reproduction.

In the case of horse tendons, VET Sonotron Mark2 induces rapid healing by fast production of new, normal cells.

Fish Experiment To Show VET Sonotron Works On Free Radicals In Injured SDF Tendons Of Racehorses

An evidence was available through a fish experiment. Paraquat, a known poison that kills weeds and organisms - even human beings - by producing free radicals in tissues, was used to poison two fish. One of them was used as a control. It died. The other one was treated with Sonotron. It lived.

Inferences: Sonotron reversed the action of Paraquat immediately after treatment of the poisoned fish. As Paraquat produces free radicals in tissues, Sonotron enabled the fish to live by neutralizing those free radicals before they could kill the fish. Therefore, Sonotron has direct action on free radicals in tissues.

Please see a video (5 min.) of this experiment:

Sonotron is being used in Malaysia and Singapore by doctors who are mostly general practitioners since 1994, about 18 years ago, for treatment of the following categories of problems:

  • Musculoskeletal & Connective Tissue Disorders
  • Neurological Disorders
  • Dermatological Disorders
  • Pulmonary Disorders
  • ENT Disorders
  • Ophthalmological Disorders
  • Gastrointestinal Disorder
  • Dental & Oral Disorders
  • Genitourinary & Gynaecological Disorders
  • Vascular Disorders

USES:

1. VET Sonotron Mark2 offers fast reduction of pain and inflammation thus offering fast recovery from joint, muscle, tendon and ligament injuries leading to rapid removal of lameness and early mobilisation of race horses.

This prevents  loss of flexibility or range of motion as well as loss in proprioception (awarenesss of posture, movement, balance and location), muscle symmetry and trunk stability. It also increases blood and lymph flow and increases tissue tension to stimulate tissue repair and improve tissue alignment.

Early mobilization also produces improvement in tendon Type 1 collagen deposition (evidence of healing) along with improvement in both the ROM and the ability of the tendon to handle ground reaction forces. It limits fibrosis (scarring) of connective tissues, preserves joint ROM and improves neuromuscular coordination.

2. The above benefits are seen also when hoof abscesses and injured tissues after surgery are rapidly healed by the VET Sonotron Mark2.

3. VET Sonotron Mark2 heals damaged tissues without scarring; tissue injuries like abrasions, puncture wounds, lacerations, saddle wounds, tendon tears and post surgical wounds.

4. VET Sonotron Mark2 heals skin problems like dermatophilus congolensis.

5. VET Sonotron Mark2 complements the actions of antibiotics on wounds by preventing secondary infections during the healing process.

Based on track records in human use, VET Sonotron can be used for treatment of:

  1. Inflammatory disorders of the respiratory system like sinusitis, bronchitis and other lung problems.
  1. Colic, gastric pain and other gastro-intestinal inflammatory conditions like irritable bowel syndrome.
  1. Neurologic inflammatory conditions arising from the CNS after a tumble when a horse takes a bad step.
  1. Optic neuritis and other ophthalmic inflammatory conditions.
  1. ENT inflammatory conditions.

Based  also on human use, VET Sonotron can be used for:

  1. Healing of broken bones like jaw and rib hairline fractures.
  1. Improving the physical and mental forms of horses by treating their muscles and brain prior to race day.

As observed by Dr. Alfonso Di Mino, there must be one common denominator for Sonotron to be able to work in numerous categories of clinical problems. He saw it as free radicals. For more of his views on this matter, please see this video (55 sec.):
